The international retail real estate event (Siec) has announced the appointment of Arnaud Gallet as its director and revealed its new directions for 2025.
Arnaud Gallet, 49, has been appointed Director of Siec. Owned by FACT (Fédération des Acteurs du Commerce dans les Territoires), the show is also announcing its new positioning for 2025: a revamp that fully reflects the diversity and dynamism of the retail space ecosystem, while promoting exchanges and opportunities for all those involved in retail property.

Arnaud Gallet holds a master's degree in Management and Marketing from UPEC, and has been Director of the Retail Division at Comexposium since 2020. This entity brings together the Siec and Paris Retail Week trade shows (now NRF Retail's Big Show Europe). Arnaud Gallet has also taken over the management of Siec, a position previously held by the late Juana Moreno.

A seasoned professional, he has over 25 years' experience in the media and retail sectors (Yahoo!, Pixmania, Comexposium).

At Comexposium, he was in charge of communications and content for the E-Commerce Paris and E-Marketing Paris trade shows. Passionate about digital and retail, he also launched and directed the One to One Customer Experience event in 2014, before taking over the reins of Paris Retail Week in 2018 and Pole Retail in 2002O.

He is now Director of Siec, with the mission of continuing and amplifying the growth dynamic of this trade show, through a new positioning for this key business event for all players in the retail property sector.

« The entire Siec team at my side will be keen to extend and build on the remarkable momentum set in motion by Juana Moreno,’ says Arnaud Gallet. ‘The retail property sector is going through a period of profound change, faced with new challenges that will have a lasting impact on the entire retail ecosystem. Together, and alongside FACT, we are going to rise to these exciting challenges, and continue to innovate to strengthen Siec's leadership position as a catalyst of energy for the entire industry. »

Change to bring people together: the Siec's roadmap to 2025

The next SIEC will be held on 11 and 12 June 2025 at Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles. In the run-up to this major event, which drew over 4,000 participants and 100 exhibitors in 2024, the Siec is today unveiling the major strategic directions that will orchestrate its renewal, based on one guiding principle: Change to bring people together better.

This strategic positioning will focus on three key areas:

  • Offering a new experience for visitors and exhibitors, to give them more opportunities to meet new people, thanks to new spaces and a range of new highlights.
  • Developing new offerings for new audiences, with the creation of turnkey spaces that are accessible and modern in design.
  • Diversifying the visitor base and matching supply and demand to make Siec the must-attend event for all commercial site professionals.

On an operational level, these three levers will be translated into a series of innovative initiatives, which will be unveiled at the beginning of 2025.

« Over the past 18 years, the SIEC has established itself as France's leading commercial property show,’ says Christophe Noël, General Delegate of FACT. ‘A large number of professionals look forward to this annual event to exchange ideas with their peers, share best practices and create new business opportunities. FACT is delighted to announce the appointment of Arnaud GALLET as Exhibition Director. His roadmap is clear: to develop the show so that it better meets the expectations of exhibitors and visitors, and to strengthen its user-friendliness, in order to attract ever more new audiences. 2025 will be the year of renewal for the SIEC: new team, new programme, new visitors! »
